Treasure, #898

So are you all getting psyched for the Superbowl tomorrow night?  I love a good party, but truly folks, between us, I could care less who wins.  Denver or Seattle – they’re both good cities.  I’m an artsy fartsy type, and sports have never been my thing.  Don’t get me wrong…I love all the spirit and energy mixed in with the sports, but I’ve never really been able to get into the game.

So, all that said, the Superbowl for me is all about the half time show.  Don’t forget, blog readers, I’m a music gal, and the stage production that goes into Superbowl  half time is always amazing to watch and is enough to get me glued to the TV like everyone else .  Yes, there are the Superbowl commercials, too, but half time is my absolute fav.

This years half time show promises to be awesome!  Bruno Mars is probably my favorite stage performer today.  He is just so groovy, and his voice and dance moves are awesome!  He is the perfect pick for the half time show with all of that charisma.  Not to mention having the Red Hot Chili Peppers join him, too!  The world hasn’t heard from the Red Hot Chili Peppers in ages, and it will be fun to see the two styles of music mix up their sounds.  I can’t wait!

So, as you all are wearing your favorite football team’s colors and shirts and are cooking up the wings, I am listening to Bruno Mars to pump me up.  Click HERE to listen to one of his newer songs, “Treasure”, and everyone get psyched for the Superbowl!!!

About tucsonsongstress

I am a music teacher for children ages 6-weeks-old - 8th grade. I am also a camp songleader and a Jewish music specialist with and without my husband who is known as Shabbat Scott. We love singing with people of all ages all over Tucson. My "song of the day" idea originally started by playing music challenges on Facebook. I loved choosing songs, and my friends seemed to love reading and listening to my choices. I have decided to continue a daily blog (or as daily as I can manage) and tell you all some stories through some songs that have touched me either in wonderful ways or by annoying the heck out of me. Hope you all enjoy this blog! Happy singing!
