I Want Candy, #1082

Uggghhh….’tis the season!  I love Halloween and all of its spooky goodness, but with it also comes candy….lots and lots of candy.  I find Halloween to be a real test of will power.  What gal doesn’t loves chocolate after all?  And!!! — all of this chocolate is bite sized!  A teeny tiny bite of chocolate never hurt anyone, right?  WRONG!

The problem with all of that bite sized candy lying around is that one teeny tiny bite becomes lots of teeny tiny bites, and before you know it, you’ve consumed far more candy that you ever thought imaginable.

Ghouls are not the scary part of Halloween — candy is, and though Halloween hasn’t happened yet, bits of chocolate are already appearing in my house.  Help me!

My song of the day is Bow Wow Wow’s “I Want Candy,” because even though I do want it, I really don’t.

About tucsonsongstress

I am a music teacher for children ages 6-weeks-old - 8th grade. I am also a camp songleader and a Jewish music specialist with and without my husband who is known as Shabbat Scott. We love singing with people of all ages all over Tucson. My "song of the day" idea originally started by playing music challenges on Facebook. I loved choosing songs, and my friends seemed to love reading and listening to my choices. I have decided to continue a daily blog (or as daily as I can manage) and tell you all some stories through some songs that have touched me either in wonderful ways or by annoying the heck out of me. Hope you all enjoy this blog! Happy singing!
