P.S. I Love You, #1157

I’m living through my husband’s eyes right now.  He’s in Israel, and I’m just so fascinated by every step he takes around these ancient cities.  His photos and emails are dripping with the most enthralling tales, and I can’t get enough.

Today, he’s in Tucson’s partnership region in Hof Ashkelon, and he’s visiting classrooms that our local Jewish schools have been pen paling with.  We’ve heard about these teachers & students for so long, and it’s so awesome that he’s making these connections!

I’m thinking about what an incredible thing our partnership is and how much Tucson has gotten out of it & the Israeli cities have, too.  I’m so excited for him today!

So – the song of the day -is from one of the greatest partnerships of all time.  No one can beat the songwriting team of Lennon/McCartney.  I chose “P.S. I love You,” one of the many awesome tunes in their catalog, because why not add a message in there for my husband, too? xoxoxo, honey! And for all of you –  Enjoy!

About tucsonsongstress

I am a music teacher for children ages 6-weeks-old - 8th grade. I am also a camp songleader and a Jewish music specialist with and without my husband who is known as Shabbat Scott. We love singing with people of all ages all over Tucson. My "song of the day" idea originally started by playing music challenges on Facebook. I loved choosing songs, and my friends seemed to love reading and listening to my choices. I have decided to continue a daily blog (or as daily as I can manage) and tell you all some stories through some songs that have touched me either in wonderful ways or by annoying the heck out of me. Hope you all enjoy this blog! Happy singing!
