I am a songleader, music teacher, mommy, wife, friend, aunt, sister, daughter and all around music fan!!!  I have been to more concerts/live performances than I can even begin to count.  I’d have a far bigger bank account if I could have all the money back from every show I’ve been to, but the experiences of seeing them all have been priceless!

The soundtrack to my life is diverse.  It consists of songs that I adore, songs that I hate, songs that make me laugh and songs that make me shed tears.  I love to hear how the same song can mean so many different things to so many different people.  Please feel free to share how the songs I pick trigger your memories.  I intend for this blog to be an open discussion.

As said by the great Ray Charles…

I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.

  1. Have you heard of Marc Broussard? He’s my favorite artist and I always love introducing his music to people. I just went to my fourth Broussard show, and he’s always amazing. If you like soul, definitely check him out.
